Responsibilities:
Responsible for Huawei International Co. Limited’s financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial KPIs.
- Establishing and optimizing entity-level budgeting/forecasting methods: Based on the entity’s accounting policies and features, develop and optimize budgeting/forecasting methodologies for each scenario, and implement and verify the effectiveness of those methodologies.
- Annual budget preparation: Based on business insights and global business trends, prepare annual budget of the entity, identify and manage key assumptions, promptly address potential business risks and drive target achievement through budget control.
- Monthly rolling forecast: Prepare regional entity-level forecast, identify key information in business operation changes, identify operational risks, and disclose them through the entity-level budget forecast, provide the basis for HQ decision-making and measures in advance to lower potential risks.
- Forecast of foreign currency exposures: Complete forecast of various foreign currency exposures every month to support the hedging requirements of the Foreign Exchange Management Department.
- Workflow development: Prepare a corresponding guidance process based on the basic requirements and methodologies for budgeting and forecasting at the entity level, and ensure the budgeting/forecasting process of the entity is carried out in an orderly and effective manner that can support the decisions made by the Group.
- Risk identification: Daily monitoring, warning, and evaluation of budgeting and forecasting, identify entity’s legal compliance risks and report to the CFO promptly.
- Financial report management: Analyze financial reports and manage accounting estimates of the entity, review various businesses, deliver financial data and disclosures, and meet internal and external compliance requirements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience in operating or legal entity budgeting and forecasting;
- Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance, with ACCA or CPA qualification preferred;
- Audit experience is preferred.
Soft skills
- Understand operations of financial workflow, excellent logical reasoning, and financial analysis capabilities;
- Strong communication and organization skills;
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other office software;
- Understand the MACRO program;
- Proficient in English and Chinese, Mandarin is preferred;
- Big 4 preferred.
