The Internship

The Australian NBCUniversal Internship Program is a 9-month program running between March and Dec 2024, which provides real world work experience, networking opportunities, a structured learning & development program and exposure to one of the world’s leading media companies. This role is a fixed-term contract for 9 months between mid-March and mid-December 2024.

We are looking for someone 3-4 days a week, flexible around university commitments.

Job Description

The Creative Services Intern, reports to the Senior Producer in Sydney for Networks International APAC.

The Creative Services Intern will be responsible for the following:

1. Support the APAC Creative Services Department
2. Work closely with the Senior Creative on assigned projects. From Scriptwriting, editing/Post-production etc.
3. Create and reversion promos, assets and digital/social content for Bravo, E! and UniversalTV channels in Asia Pacific and see them through from conception to delivery/publish.
4. Assist in pre-production and where needed on-set of local production shoots
5. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
6. Contribute and be an active member in team brainstorms
7. Play an active role in the company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives

Qualifications

• A content creator with a love of all things pop culture!
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong passion to learn and develop Adept at video editing, specifically using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Working knowledge of graphics software e.g. Adobe Photoshop, After Effects would be a plus
• Excellent communications, organizational and interpersonal skills
• A self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic, who can balance multiple priorities and create value for diverse stakeholders– within an ever-evolving media environment
