Job Description.
A domestic heating installer or domestic gas engineer is required for our client, a mechanical and electrical building services provider, who operates throughout the Sussex area. They are currently seeking a domestic gas engineer to carry out installation work.
The domestic Gas Engineer will have proven experience carrying out the installation of new boilers, swapping out faulty boilers, system conversions and the installation of gas appliances. Experience with S & Y Plan wiring is advantageous. The Boiler install MUST hold their ACS domestic gas qualifications, including their CCN1 and CENWAT / CEN1. The client would consider both experienced engineers and also more junior engineers, who may have a few years of experience within the industry. The domestic gas engineer would be working across the Sussex area, so must be based within the patch or within commutable distance of Sussex.
Domestic Gas Engineer Position Overview
Domestic Gas engineers are required to attend residential housing sites throughout their designated, localised patch area carrying out installation, replacement and conversion of Domestic Boilers/ heating systems.
Domestic Gas Engineer Position Requirements
- Experience installing domestic boilers
- Full ACS Domestic qualifications
- Based in or around the Sussex area
- Experience with S & Y plan wiring advantageous
- The client would also possibly consider newly qualified engineers.
- Full UK driving license
Domestic Gas Engineer Position Remuneration
- £39,000 – £40,500 depending on experience

- Ongoing progression and development (upskilling to commercial gas qualifications etc.)
