Due to increased demand for our world-class products, we’re looking for people with related skills to come and join the team as Aerospace Fitters at our large manufacturing site in Filton, Bristol. Here we manufacture large, complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components,, and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.

To help us make a difference, you’ll bring your passion and expertise/ talent to what you do. You also must have completed a recognised apprenticeship (Apprenticeship Level 3/Advanced/Part 2) in one of the following trades:

Motor MechanicsCoppersmithingSheet Metal WorkingMarine FittingAgricultural Fitting FabricatingPlumbingWeldingPattern MakingPipe FittingGas FittingCoach MakingPlatingJig ErectingA/C FittingIf you already have a recognised apprenticeship completed within the Aerospace Sector, you’re of course welcome to apply here too and we can fast-track your application.

If you’re joining us on the skills transfer scheme, we’ll provide training and support over two years to help you achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 NVQ Technical Certificate Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (Aircraft Manufacture Mechanical)
If you’ll join our skills transfer scheme, your starting salary will be £30,870, rising to £32,357 per annum when fully trained. If you’re an already qualified apprentice within Aerospace, your salary will be £31,084 rising to £32,357 per annum
The standard working week is 35 hours, although you may be working shifts and sometimes there is a need for overtime – shift premium and overtime rates are paid.
