About Courtyard By Marriott Tampere City
Courtyard Tampere City hotel opened in January 2020 and is one of the first Marriott hotels in Finland and the only Courtyard – brand hotel. This hotel, favoured by international as well as local guests, has 227 rooms, a Kitchen & Bar, restaurant, a gym, and a connection to Tampere Hall via an indoor route.
THE POSITION
As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring high-quality dining experiences for our guests.
Job Requirements
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver exceptional culinary creations.
- Develop innovative menu offerings that meet the needs and preferences of our guests.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Manage inventory and control food costs.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
How You’ll Do It
- By being a warm and helpful communicator and being guest-oriented personality.
- With the ability to put things in perspective when it comes to helping guests and having a true desire to help.
- Thinking out of the box to create unique experiences.
- You enjoy teamwork and helping others develop through constructive feedback.

- Your Finnish & English skills are top-notch, both written and spoken.
- You have a positive and can-do attitude.
- You have extensive previous experience from the industry and can give perspective to your peers.
