Due to continued growth, there is the opportunity to join the business in a newly created role as a Head of Digital Sales.

Working as an integral member of the Marketing Team & the wider industry, the Head of Digital Sales will be responsible for driving digital revenue growth goals and have a strong breadth of knowledge with 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills & Experience:

  1. Proven experience in a similar Head of Digital Sales or Digital Manager role
  2. Experience with eCommerce projects
  3. Solid understanding of the evolving digital landscape, including digital best practices, eCommerce, website functionality, UX, email marketing, SEO / SEM & Loyalty.
  4. Experience with Hubspot or similar, highly regarded
  5. Understanding of web development, API integration & data-driven projects. Google Analytics reporting and SEO
  6. Strong project management & project management skills
  7. Excellent attention to detail & tactical execution
  8. Strong problem-solving skills
  9. Clear verbal & written communication skills
  10. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, e.g. Marketing, eCommerce, or Business

Position Summary

The Head of Digital Sales plays a key role within the Roll’d business in developing & executing both eCommerce & digital sales strategy to drive optimization across AU channels and focus on engagement, retention, and acquisition to drive commercial outcomes across the region.

You will work with other areas of the business and external agencies to form a strategy, as well as scope & deliver Customer First solutions.

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the evolving digital landscape, including digital best practice, eCommerce, website functionality, UX, email marketing, SEO / SEM & loyalty.

The Head of Digital Sales will spearhead ongoing innovation across our eCommerce & digital channels. Additionally, you will focus on thought leadership with the team & help to create an environment of learning & development for the team.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead Customer e-commerce journey, gaining an exceptional understanding of customer behaviour and insights, deeply engage with our customers to build customer brand experience & sentiment
  • Drive the implementation of the digital sales channel strategy across key sales channels (app/web, 3PL’s & Franchising always ensuring the best ROI
  • Drive aggressive growth of eCommerce revenue to build forecasts & meet sales targets
  • Develop the right reporting capabilities and dashboards to track and learn and diagnose issues
  • Collaborate with stakeholders & other departments to scope/deliver solutions, manage expectations, explore new initiatives & opportunities
  • Lead end-to-end management of digital projects adhering to strict budgets and timeline
  • Plan & lead Loyalty program launch that best services the needs of business and elates our customers
  • Lead the rollout of campaigns via our CRM and email marketing platforms
  • You will manage all search engine optimization
  • Use commercial & strategic thinking to identify & prioritize emerging digital channels & features
  • Mentor & growing the team as required to facilitate business growth while initiating new & innovative strategies.
  • Work with Technology, Brand & Franchisee teams to create personalized content that is targeted and relevant to user segments via eCommerce and Marketing Clouds.
  • Work with Brand & design teams to support activities that contribute to efforts to cement Brand positioning and raise Brand awareness and ensure platforms have a consistent visual identity. Work collaboratively with the ongoing upgrade of digital systems in partnership with the Technology Team, web agencies and other external suppliers.

  1. Internal: Marketing, Operations, Franchise, Technology, Data Analyst
  2. External: Digital Performance Agency, 3rd Party Aggregators (UberEats, Deliveroo, DoorDash, Menulog)
