Job Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Director, Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of resident’s apartments and common areas as assigned.

Schedule: Full-time (weekdays and some weekend availability)

Responsibilities

  1. Provide housekeeping services in resident apartments by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, and laundering linens.
  2. Ensure common areas are kept clean and sanitized as assigned
  3. Handle and store all cleaning chemicals by OSHA regulations
  4. Maintain housekeeping storage areas are clean and organized
  5. Report maintenance issues to the Maintenance Director
  6. Ensure safety issues are reported immediately (broken glass, water leaks, broken locks, broken toilets, etc.).

Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or GED preferred
  2. Previous experience in cleaning
  3. Dependable and responsible
  4. Ability to communicate with residents
  5. Physical Abilities

An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents. The associate must use proper body mechanics.

Additional Information
