Job Description
The Junior Internal Auditor (JPO) will adopt systematic and disciplined audits to evaluate and improve the organization’s risk management, control, and governance processes.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute audit projects following the department.
- Manage projects within time budgets and target dates, reporting any timing problems or budget overruns to managers.
- Assist in the development of internal audit scope and audit programs.
- Perform audit procedures to evaluate the condition of financial and operational controls.
- Prepare internal audit work papers under the department.
- Assist in preparing audit reports and making practical and value-added recommendations to improve risk management practices and the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
- Present or assist in presenting findings and recommendations to business unit management. Perform follow-up reviews of outstanding internal audit issues and assist in the preparation of reporting.
- Utilize technology to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the audit process.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 1 – 3 years prior internal or external audit experience preferred.
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or financial services may be acceptable.
- Previous experience in retail/wholesale companies is preferred.
- Prior experience in Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel, Etc.. ).
- A driving license is necessary.
- I preferred to join immediately.
