Valiant is seeking a Non-Rated Aircrew Training Instructor for W-TRS. Potential locations could include: California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Korea, and potential additional CONUS locations.
Essential job duties include but are not limited to:
- Leads initial and site training of UH-60 and CH-47 flight systems instruction on Non-Rated Crew Member Man Module (NCM3) system
- Conducts training courses, both on-site and on-line, for the company’s applications and systems to include lectures and hands-on sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Manages the daily operations of UH-60, CH-47 , NCM3, flight and ensures it is maintained to US Army standards and available for training.
- Instructs and measures training progress of crew member students who train in the established aircrew training curriculum.
- Provides inputs and courseware corrections and modifications to update training policies and procedures Responsible for operating the NCM3 missions, SAF, and After-Action Reviews (AAR) consoles
- Uses hardware and software to input data efficiently to develop, store and transfer exercises and AARs
- Document all maintenance actions by inputting data in ISTS.
- May be required to support other devices and will be cross trained, as needed.
Mental/Physical requirements for this role include:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriate.
- Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height.
- Willing to work a flexible workweek.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license and maintain post driving privileges.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
- This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-year associate degree in electronics or related technical field (BS Degree desirable/Experience Equivalent to Degree)
- May consider experience in lieu of formal education (military training, technical school, and/or professional experience).
- US citizenship is required. Possess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance.
Desired Skills:
Previous Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) experience highly desired
