• Shift Pattern: Tuesday – Saturday 4 am – 12:30 pm

What you’ll do

• • Monitor and assess Fruit & Veg lines delivered to the distribution centre (DC) validating the compliance with product quality and labelling specifications set by the Woolworths quality assurance team
  • Follow the Banana ripening process to out turn the optimum quality and colour stage for our stores and customers.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Buying Team to ensure we are delivering the best quality offer for store operations to enhance customer experience

Deliver safe, quality products in line with Woolworth’s specifications and company KPI’s

What you’ll bring

• • Experience working in a highly regulated environment ideally in Quality Assurance
  • Farming / Retail fruit & veg / Post Harvest / Agronomy and/or Agriculture experience
  • Firm understanding of supermarket retailing and commercial processes
  • Fosters a team environment where people can challenge current practices
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills in MS or Google Suites
  • Passion for retail & team first customer first mindset

Ability to work in a cold environment, usually between 2-13 degrees
