Fixed Term Contract: 13 Months as of June 2024.

As our Senior Brand Manager, you will be responsible for driving one of our key brands in the Nordics, and in addition, have the Nordic lead in our digital and cultural marketing across our brands, leading 1 direct report. Your role will be crucial in landing excellent local marketing execution for the Upfield key global brand in the Nordics, evaluating the market potential of new product and digital ideas, involving close collaboration with the Nordic sales team and the European Global marketing and digital team to ensure successful project management and execution. You will report to Sten Schwalbe, Head of Marketing Nordic, based in Stockholm.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Lead the Nordic Brand Management for one of our brands. Developing Nordic Communication and Marketing activities. Managing and tracking business and project progress, ensuring effectiveness and timely interventions.
  • Spearheading the development and implementation of innovative digital projects in the Nordics in categories like Plant Butters, Spreads, and Creams.
  • Close collaboration with the Nordic Sales Team to ensure commercial success of our brands.
  • Build a strong relationship with the European Global Marketing and Digital Team to manage project stages and cross-functional team meetings.
  • Leadership of one direct report (Nordic Consumer Cultural Manager)

So what does it take to be successful in this role?

 

  • A consumer-first mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Strong experience in digital marketing.
  • Strong commercial acumen, understanding when and how to play on all the Ps (Pack, Price, Promotion, Placement, Product).
  • Experience in engaging and selling to Nordic grocery retailers such as Ica, Axfood, Kesko, SOK, Salling.
  • Ability to manage agencies effectively and maximize partnership outcomes.
  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing retail and consumer media strategies.
  • Strong coordination skills and a collaborative mindset, with both the local team as well as the global team.
  • Passion for learning and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Fluency in Swedish or Finnish, as well as excellent English, is essential.
