The Role
Our Imago team are looking for a passionate and collaborative Senior Software Tester to join them.
The Imago product allows users to access, collaborate, and validate data insights from high-quality geoscientific images – enabling more discoveries and confident decisions. The team is cross-functional and split across both Christchurch, NZ and Perth, Australia, it is full of people passionate about the product! The usage of Imago is growing rapidly, and we will need to work continuously to ensure that the services are well placed for future growth.
As a Senior Software Tester at Seequent you will have plenty of opportunities to share your knowledge with others, grow your technical skill set, and solve complex challenges that have real world impact. You will be an advocate for quality of the Imago product, focusing on the testing of the Imago Mobile and Desktop capture applications and supporting the Cloud Development team; you will also have responsibility for managing Level 3 support cases. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and implement a test strategy for the Imago product stack; in collaboration with the team.
- Collaborate with software development team to ensure we have automation and coverage is a priority
- Work with the software development team to deliver features and functionality that are fit for purpose
- Champion the cause of great software and contribute to process improvement in the team and the wider team.
- Mentor and coach pod members.

- C#, Python .
- Shell Scripting, PowerShell.
- SQLite, PostgreSQL.
- Microsoft Azure.
- Git, JIRA, Salesforce
In order to be successful in this role, you should have:
- Broad experience in testing software including test automation.
- Experience testing mobile and desktop applications.
- Legendary attention to detail.
- Ability to constructively identify problems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Enthusiasm, adaptability and a can-do attitude.
- An interest in growing technical capabilities and teaching others.
