- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
- Experience: 2 years required
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Welding helmet
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods
- Work Site Environment: Noisy, Hot, Odours, Dusty
- Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes, Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
- Area of Specialization: Custom fabrication, Structural construction
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Arc welding machine
- Type of Materials: Steel, iron and heavy metals
- Specific Skills: Interpret welding process specifications, Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC), Operate hoisting and lifting equipment, Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Welding Techniques: Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Flux core arc welding (FCAW)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
