As a dynamic and fast-growing company, this company is looking for an additional Recruiter from its head office in Geluwe. You will be responsible for selecting and recruiting mainly Driver profiles.
The Responsibilities For This Position Are
- You work together with logistics managers to analyze personnel needs and determine driver profiles.
You publish the vacancies, actively search for suitable candidates, screen the CVs and conduct selection interviews.
You coordinate all vacancies for the various driver profiles in Belgium. Over time, you will also be asked to take on other recruitment tasks.
You are constantly looking for new recruitment opportunities, such as using social media, participating in job days, trade fairs and exploring new collaborations with recruitment partners. This gives you the freedom to be creative.
The onboarding process is your responsibility, where you ensure a hospitable reception and arrange the required administration.
You also conduct follow-up interviews with the people you have recruited. You analyze their feedback regarding the welcome, the training, the first impressions of the team and the job content. In collaboration with the HR and logistics team, you work on improvements to optimize onboarding.
You ensure accurate weekly payroll administration for the temporary workers.
The open-door policy promotes a culture of consultation. As such, you are the point of contact for various questions from our temporary workers, ranging from payroll processing and socio-legal issues to leave rights and personal problems. You also act as an advisor to managers with regard to the functioning of their team, such as conducting absenteeism conversations, career guidance and performance reviews.In short, a multi-faceted HR function with numerous challenges!
The Required Qualifications Are
- You preferably have a bachelor’s or master’s degree (commercial sciences, psychology, social sciences, etc.) or can fall back on a first equivalent experience. Recent graduates are also eligible.
Experience with recruiting drivers is an asset. Knowledge of legislation surrounding transport in general is certainly an added value.
You have a very good knowledge of Dutch and French. You must be able to have a smooth conversation in both national languages with various conversation partners (applicants, managers, temporary employment agencies, ?).
Daily social contacts are an incentive for you to function well.
Working with people is your passion and you can easily adapt your communication style to your conversation partner.
You are sufficiently assertive and solution-oriented, show empathy and have a strong team spirit.
You think digitally, creatively and have knowledge of social media.
You are flexible, have a driving license B and regularly travel to one of our branches in Flanders and Wallonia.
You are discreet and handle company, employee and candidate sensitive information with care.
