Job Description

The UX Designer is responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for newbalance.com by centring solutions around the consumer, business, and brand needs. The UX designer must be highly collaborative and adaptable with excellent communication skills. They will need to possess strong creative, technical, and problem-solving skills that will help drive empathy, research, creativity, prototyping, storytelling, and user testing. To be successful in this role, you will successfully integrate consumer research into UX designs that allow the team to hit revenue targets.

Responsibilities

UX/UI DESIGN

• Collaborate with peer designers, product managers, engineers, business stakeholders, and other teams to deliver end-to-end UX and UI experiences.
• The initiate design process, from concept development, UI design, and prototype to production, with guidance from peers and colleagues.
• Design user-focused wireframes, hi-fidelity mockups, interaction models, specifications, style guides, and prototypes that illustrate a deep understanding of the user’s needs and business requirements.
• Use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows and mocks to communicate interaction and design ideas.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in UX & UI
• Understanding of user experience, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
• Produce information architectures, wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, design templates, and other creative artefacts.
• Proficiency with tools: Sketch, InVision, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other design/ prototyping tools.
• Good knowledge of human-centred design methodologies (re: design thinking)
• A keen eye for design and on top of current UI design, layout frameworks, illustration, and visualization techniques and trends.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese

Average Salary: HK$60,000
