Responsibilities
- As an acting manager, non-consolidated and consolidated financial statements, tax, etc., monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, dealing with auditing firms (including internal control), and dealing with tax effect accounting. .
- Appropriate information provision and proposal work for Japanese and US management from an accounting perspective. Simplifying and speeding up the accounting department’s settlement processing with high precision, transforming it into a department that shifts its focus to analysis and advisory services for each brand.
- Practical procedures specific to consolidated financial statements (e.g., intra-group transaction volume, elimination of credits and liabilities, elimination of investments and capital, etc.) when preparing quarterly and year-end consolidated financial statements.
- As a 100% subsidiary in the United States, you will lead the knowledge transfer of US-GAAP practical experience.
- Preparations for the introduction of IFRS and close cooperation with external auditors.
- Operational management of the financial accounting system. And settlement processing using data generated from multiple sales and inventory management systems.
- Observance of US accounting policies, business procedure manuals, business flow, RCM operation of accounting processing, and thorough dissemination to related parties.
- Preparation and reporting of various accounting materials, cooperation with each company and business division (acceleration of settlement of accounts and promotion of business flow).
- Commenced operation of hard closing and improved accuracy by introducing a workflow for purchases and expenses. Efficient closing schedule.
- Engage in the operation of the group accounting system, and collaborate with the planning department to improve and streamline business processes.
- Guidance and training of accounting staff.

Required Skills
- – Accounting experience under US-GAAP and J-GAAP or IFRS. GAAP reconciliation knowledge and experience to US-GAAP (fixed assets, lease accounting).

- 5 years or more of FP&A experience (preferred)
- Accounting experience in a US company/multinational company
