This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable work experience within an admin setting in the Immunisation Team of Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust and achieve a nationally recognized qualification.

You will be supported and developed in the role, learning new skills while undertaking the apprenticeship standard Level 3 in Business Administration. The candidate will support both the School-Aged Immunisation Team.

The role will be to provide effective and efficient administrative support to the team will working in both areas to provide both face-to-face customer service and telephone/email customer service.

As per the eligibility criteria for government-funded apprenticeship schemes, applicants must be aged 16 or over or already be in any form of government-funded education.

Salary information: £10132.00 a year (for the first 12 months & then National Minimum Wage)

2. Apprentice – Civil Engineering Degree

Durham County Council is the largest council in the North East; they employ over 16,000 people and have a budget of around £1.3 billion, which helps us provide services for more than 513,000 people.

They are a forward-looking council and recognize that we need passionate people who share their enthusiasm to deliver fantastic services to the people of County Durham.

As an apprentice (Civil Engineer Degree), you will develop skills, knowledge, and experience working in strategic traffic – This role is temporary for six years.

As an Apprentice (Civil Engineer Degree), you will support technical officers in assessing new roads and associated infrastructure requirements.

You will work alongside Technicians and Engineers, reviewing technical drawings and using computer software to produce drawings to specified standards.

Qualifications

  • You must either have or expect to achieve Level 3 qualifications meeting 120 UCAS points, one of which must be Mathematics at Grade B and another analytical science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Physics or Technology), or recognized equivalents or an equivalent, e.g., A-Levels and BTEC extended diplomas are accepted.
  • You must already hold Level 2 qualifications covering English and Maths, e.g., GCSE’s Grade 4/C or above, including functional skills.

Salary: £10,001.00 to £20,000.00 per year

Additional salary information: Grade 1 £18,887 to £19,264

3. Apprentice Business Administration Assistant Level 3

The successful applicant must undertake the Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship, which will be paid for through the Government’s Apprenticeship Levy.

This will involve 20% of the contracted hours being committed to learning and training that takes place off the job. The duration of this apprenticeship is 12 months.

Requirements 

  • Broad experience of being able to communicate effectively face to face, by telephone, and in writing
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and IT Software and ability to learn new bespoke software systems, solutions, and procedures
  • Able to learn about the requirements of the Transport Act 2000, Traffic Management Act 2004, and Enviro-Crime Legislation.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and flexibly with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness and a commitment to undertake a Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship on commencement of employment.
  • This is expected to take approximately 12 months.

The starting salary is £18,516 (Level One), rising to £18,887 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to the satisfactory completion of a probation period.

4. Governance Apprentice

By joining ForHousing Governance and Assurance Team, you’ll provide corporate governance support, always ensuring the highest standards of governance while providing efficient and effective secretarial service to support the delivery of the Governance Framework, ensuring compliance with the policies and processes that support it.

Candidates will be able to evidence a good standard of general education in English GCSE, with ideally a qualification or equivalent in Microsoft Office, particularly Word.

You’ll have excellent written and oral communication skills, with developed interpersonal skills and the ability to ask relevant questions, and learn quickly and efficiently.

Salary – £9.90 per hour

5. 1113 – Policy & Government Relations Apprentice

Do you have an interest in working with the government to shape policy? Do you want to work on some of the biggest issues of the day impacting the construction industry?

They have a number of different roles that fall within the different grades on the pay structure from A-H. The role you are applying for is evaluated at a Grade H and while the overall salary banding for this grade is (£18,313 – £23,633), the salary range for this specific role is £18,313 – £21,577.

They are looking to recruit a Policy and Government Relations Apprentice to work within a high-performing team based in the offices at the Department for Education in London from home.

You will work as part of a team who shapes policy and engage with key people on a range of skills issues from localism to leveling up and with analysts who develop innovative policy solutions to support government and industry.

Salary – £18,313 to £21,577 per year, pro-rata
