Job Description

Facco Japan Co., Ltd. is looking for a senior accountant who can interact with the COO in Japan and the CFO in Italy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Book-keeping
• Able to manage project accounting
• Create cash flow forecasts and perform bank reconciliations
• Ensure that the purchasing department adheres to applicable policies
• Prepare closing entries in compliance with GAAP
• Participate in system development projects to improve operational efficiencies
• Plan, organize, do & control accounting operations: Monthly & yearly closing (Financial reporting, Key Account reconciliations including Intercompany ones (AP, AR,
• Borrowings) ), Treasury and Tax, Insurance
• Ensure management reporting on sales and projects margin/advancement
• Maintain adequate internal control
• Meet local and (basic) international requirements of accounting and tax
• Work with an external tax consultant

Requirements

• Minimum Experience Level: Over 3 years
• Career Level: Mid Career
• Minimum English Level: Business Level (Amount Used: English usage about 25%)
• Minimum Japanese Level: Fluent
• Other Language: Italian. Since the parent company is an Italian company, I can also speak Italian. It doesn’t matter if you don’t speak Italian at all.
• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree
• Visa Status: Permission to work in Japan required

Skills

• Minimum 3 years of corporate experience
• Advanced Excel skills required for report writing
• Japanese is native or fluent
• Communication skills in English required
• University graduate (major in management, economics, business, etc.)

EDUCATION

• Japanese proficiency is a must.
• English communication skill is required.
• University Degrees in Economics / Finance/ Business major preferable

Work Conditions

• Job Type: Contract
• Salary: Negotiable, based on experience ~ 9 million yen
• Work Hours 9:00-18:00 (12:00-13:00 break)
• Holidays Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays are usually holidays and other paid holidays.

Average Salary: ￥9,000,000
