Job Description.

Then come and join one of the UK’s largest outdoor retailers as a Retail Product Expert.As part of the Outdoor and Cycle Concepts Group, Cotswold Outdoor is joined by Snow + Rock and Runners Need to support outdoor enthusiasts by providing excellent customer service and a range of products from world-leading brands, all whilst promoting and encouraging sustainability!
Responsibilities.
- Delivering a high level of customer service, including resolving low-level customer concerns.
- Providing customers with a range of specialist services such as boot fits, IMBOX, gait analysis etc.
- Developing and maintaining your product knowledge and professional skills using our eLearning system and opportunities provided by our People and Product Development team.
- Delivering product training in-store.
- Overseeing a store area, including guiding colleagues on priorities and activities.
- Coaching colleagues on product-based selling skills using your expertise.
- Onboarding and mentoring new colleagues about product knowledge.
- Performing key holder duties such as opening and closing the store.
- Ensuring a safe and compliant working environment by taking personal responsibility for health and safety and store policies and procedures.
Requirements.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Experience managing a team.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to multitask.
- An in-depth understanding of outdoor products and equipment with a passion for camping and hiking.
- A drive for continuous improvement and development.
Benefits.
- Base salary of £9.88 per hour (£8.01 for those under 21’s).
- The bonus of up to £750 per annum (in proportion to hours worked).
