Primary duties will include working closely with the Center’s Director and staff to identify research questions to advance evidence-based and promising practices focusing on postsecondary education for students with intellectual disabilities. Responsibilities:
  • Analyze existing and new Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Program (FPCTP) data.
  • Identify research questions aligned with the Taxonomy for Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Programs.
  • Prepare manuscripts and reports for publication and dissemination (e.g., journals, required reports, presentations, FCSUA’s website).
  • Assist with preparation of Technical Assistance and professional development materials.
  • Assist with collection and analysis of evaluation data (e.g., Salesforce database, Strategic Planning Tool, webinars, events).
  • Assist with needs assessment, planning, and implementation of FPCTPs that include evidenced-based and promising practices (EBPPs).
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Ph.D. or appropriate terminal degree from an accredited institution by time of appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to design and facilitate research studies, including appropriate methods, data collection strategies, and analysis techniques.
  • Ability to use complex data management software and other relevant technology.
  • Experience working with youth and young adults with disabilities, preferably with students with intellectual disabilities, in secondary and/or postsecondary education settings.
Additional Application Materials Required:
