Health Affiliates Maine has an opening for a Referral Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time, 40 hr/wk, role.
Referral Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Accept and process client referrals over the phone and electronically.
- Respond to all clients and referral sources within 24 hours.
- Provide Follow-up to clients on the referral waiting list
- Be familiar with the AMHI Consent Decree requirements for referral placement and follow the agency policies in regard to timeliness.
- Maintain required documentation of referrals, referral sources, and referral processes.
- Obtain and retain current information on outpatient and case management provider’s referral needs and areas of expertise.
- Attend departmental and staff meetings as scheduled.
- Perform other duties related to the position as deemed appropriate by the Management Team.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Required
Experience working with people who have behavioral health disorders Required
MHRT-c or Formal training as a DSP Preferred
